He holds a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a minor in Secondary Education. His educational background provides a strong foundation in communication, education, relational dynamics, emotional well-being, and human behavior.

In 2008, he co-founded the Boys to Men Foundation, serving as President and helping develop leadership conferences, parent education workshops, mentoring initiatives, and community partnerships. He also founded Parent Source, creating and facilitating programming focused on parenting, family engagement, workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and leadership development.
As a husband and father of four, DeAngelo understands that healthy relationships require more than good intentions.
